The 3rd Annual Moneywise Financial Empowerment Tour and Economic Emancipation Summit at the historic Metropolitan AME Church is highlighting wellness by examining physical, financial, and social aspects of health and wholeness from an individual, as well as, a community perspective.
The Moneywise Financial Empowerment Tour is considered one of the premiere African American faith based asset-building tours in America. As the official outreach program of the Moneywise with Kelvin Boston PBS series, the Moneywise tour has traveled throughout the United States, Europe, Japan and the Middle-East serving more than 40,000 Americans since 2006.
Today, the Moneywise Financial Empowerment Tour provides needed financial information to under-served African American communities that have been disproportionately impacted by the recession. The tour helps attendees take control of their financial futures, increase their assets, stabilize their communities, safe guard their financial resources, secure their homes, and overcome their financial fears.
Over the past two years, The Moneywise Economic Emancipation Summit has engaged over a thousand African American attendees at the historic Metropolitan A.M.E. Church located at 1518 M Street, NW, in Washington, DC. On December 7, the third Moneywise Financial Empowerment Tour is expected to attract hundreds more attendees who are committed to securing their financial futures.
The Moneywise Financial Empowerment Tour (8:30 AM to 4:30 PM) will feature keynote presentations from some of Black America’s best economic leaders through informative breakout- sessions led by bestselling authors, banking professionals, noted financial experts, and business consultants.
