So, when was your last Date? I’m not trying to pry into your personal affairs. I’m talking about a sweet, nutrient rich Date –to eat!!!
Dates are a great source of fiber. They give you a little taste of sweet and have a low Glycemic index (GI) so they don’t raise your blood sugar like desserts will. Dates are also a source of polyphenols which are important anti-oxidants, even higher than blueberries or plums. And post workout, they provide potassium and decrease lactic acid build up in the muscle which causes soreness.
So have a few dates a day, and you can go longer and harder on your next workout, while helping your overall health.
EAT WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU EAT
